Band Info – Taking its name from a spiritual candle meant to ward off evil and reverse poor decisions, Corre Diablo (“Run Devil” in Spanish) formed in December 2016 in response to the changing sociopolitical climate in the US. Vocalist/guitarst Xavier Delgado and bassist/vocalist Brandon Michel pull influence mainly from Jawbreaker, Alkaline Trio, and Hot Water Music. In half a year, along with drummer Eli Willis, they have written and recorded an 8-song EP and are eager to share their infectious take on a classic sound with anyone else who is looking for a change.
