The following information on Personal Conflict was submitted by bassist
Tobylifehater:
Original Line-Up:
Lloyd Masing: Vox (AKA Lloydering)
Joel Cherry: Guitar (After Joel and I left simultaneously Dave Sharp from
Moral Majority took over on guitar.)
Tobylifehater on Bass (Paul Cook was before me but never played a show. I
think Jim Dodd played for a but when I was MIA because I was wreckless and
dangerous- a fucking menace. Sherry the Crystal fiend came after me. She played
monotonous drone and didn't get drunk or wreckless enough. Just not punk enough
for the likes of me. They never sounded as good as we did on "Our Blow
Out". Back then- it was all about the spectacle.
Kent: Drums (His mom drove him to practice- we involved him with the armed
robberies of U-totems. He played one show at the Distillery East and then
was replaced by John the disco Debarge clone- Dan Mehlos was the hardest working
man in Punk and our only drummer- even to the bitter end. I know Mr. Michael
Ness was spocking Dan. Dan was really fast and good and played in Men of Clay,
The front and Catch 22.
Lloyd and Mike Ness toyed with an idea for doing a thing called "Porcelain
Angels" taken from Danny Dean's (A North County Punk we knew) poetry
with (maybe) Dan and Toby involved but Lloyd died before that could materialize
and Mike got straight.
