Rules for adding shows:
1. Check to make sure the show isn't already posted. If the show is online and simply needs to be edited, e-mail showedit@sandiegopunk.com and let us know what needs to be fixed. (It helps a lot if you include "show correction" or something similar in the subject line of your message. We use a simple search feature to pick out real e-mails from spam and if your subject doesn't have the word "show" in it (i.e. show edit, show correction, show update, etc) there's a good chance we'll miss your e-mail).
2. Unless the show is booked last minute, please wait until the majority of the information is confirmed before submitting your show.
3. Please give us as much notice as possible to add or edit a show. Generally, we can make changes within 48 hours, but sometimes it can take up to four or five days. If you've waited more than a week your show hasn't been posted, please e-mail us.

Common reasons for show rejections:
1. The show is already listed. If you want to edit a show, e-mail showedit@sandiegopunk.com, do not re-submit the information.
2. You didn't specify a date. If you leave the date field as the default, your show will be rejected.
3. You used caps lock. If you type band or venue names in caps lock, your show will be rejected. To get it added, simply re-submit it without using caps lock.
4. Your show is outside San Diego County. We only post shows that occur in San Diego County (with the exception of shows in Tijuana, Baja California)
5. Your show looks like it might be "fake" or it's impossible for us to confirm. We get so many fake submissions, that we sometimes wind up rejecting real shows because we can't confirm them.

Please do not submit fake shows! We need your help to keep this show listing correct and up to date, submitting fake shows just creates more work for us (meaning we have less time to add real shows) and hurts the visitors of the site. Thanks for your cooperation in this.

Please do not use caps lock when filling out bands, venue, etc. If you use caps lock, your show may be rejected and you will have to fill out the form again.
