You just released a brand new album on Fat Wreck Chords called “Warriors” which has that classic BC/BC feel but to me felt a lot more emotionally gripping. Did you feel the same way about it while writing it?
We wrote this record right after a 2 month long tour and right after the last presidential election.  We were all affected by what was going on in our country.  As women, we felt it was time to stand up.  To let the world know, we aren’t going to let anyone hurt us or hold us back anymore.  So Yes, it was more emotionally gripping.

My Favorite track has to be “Womanarchist” what is your favorite?
I like every song on the record but some of my favorites are Retrograde, Wild Me and Victoria.

Stacey, without getting into too many details, you recently had pretty severe health issues and many of us in the punk scene helped donate and spread the word. How did it feel to see so many people out there trying to support you through it all?
The support I received when I was sick was incredible.  It was amazing to know that punk rock, the thing I’ve dedicated my whole life to, was there for me when I really needed it.  I am forever grateful!

In the passed few years, BC/BC has blown up in the scene, both here and abroad. Now that you are an international act…what is your favorite foreign city you’ve had a chance to play?
Australia was very cool.  I think Brisbane was my favorite so far.  We had the best time in Australia.  Though, we love playing everywhere!!!  London is another one of my favorites.

Is a hotdog a sandwich?
Depends on the Bread.

Cats vs. Dogs.. Who do you like more?
I can’t pick.  I love them both.

What is your favorite thing about the SoCal punk scene? (San Diego in particular if possible)
The SoCal Punk Scene is going strong.  It’s not ever going anywhere!  Punk Rock, like Hip Hop, isn’t just music…. it’s a lifestyle choice!  San Diego’s scene is an important one.  There have been so many great and important punk bands out of San Diego.

What do you have to say to all our viewers/readers here at SanDiegoPunk.com?
Just, THANK YOU so much for supporting our band.  There are so many bands in the world, to know that you guys care about us, is beyond cool and we are truly thankful!!!
