This is going to be a very short review. If you’re visiting this site, I’m assuming you’ve already heard of this band. Propagandhi is one of those rare groups that always seems to be able to expand on their own musicality…which quite frankly all bands should strive to do, but when Propagandhi does it, it’s like they shift an entire genre into a new plane of existence. They have risen to be regarded by many as the current, most influential punk band out there…and among the most influential of all time. Their new record titled Victory Lap which released today (in virtually all available outlets) is quite possibly the best album I’ve laid ears on…ever! For this album, I refuse to go into my usual long winded descriptions using pseudo technical musical language in feeble attempts to describe what can only be captured with the ears and not words. This album sets a new bar for all.
