Band Info – 9 Volt Murder is a four-piece, American punk rock band from San Diego, California. With influences from metal, melodic punk, skate punk, classic rock, hardcore, country and hip hop, their music has been described as 88 Fingers Louie and The Old Firm Casuals gritty lovechild.
9 Volt Murder is comprised of long-time members of the San Diego music scene, all playing in bands such as The Code 7’s, changingnames, The Filthy Fucks and Sheas Rebellion, to name a few. With drummer Kevin Allen, bassist Larry West, Erik Goesch on lead guitar, and Chris Mathis as lead singer/rhythm guitarist, 9 Volt Murder aims in providing a unique perspective to today’s divisive political climate; all the while nodding to their hard-working, American brothers and sisters.
