Band Info – Above Borders is a band from south San Diego. Consisting of bassist and vocalist Alex Gradwohl and drummer Mauro Alderete. We make music that represents the area we are from and the people that surround us. Some of our influences are Rage Against the Machines, Nirvana, and Black Sabbath. We want to bring back the loud, fast, improvised, lyrically driven, meaningful, old-soul new-way style of rock. Which we feel has been missing from radio stations. Our new EP Self-Titled Above Borders was recorded in Tijuana, Mexico by engineer Patrick Alexander at Cacho Estudio. And was mixed in San Diego, CA by mixing engineer Josh Becerra at Beyer Audio.
